Browser Extension
The Web Insights browser extension collects web application usage data and reports it to WhatPulse Professional. In managed environments, you can deploy the extension silently to all devices using the same enterprise tools you already use for the desktop client.
The extension supports:
- Chromium-based browsers (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave, etc.)
- Mozilla Firefox
Deployment is handled through browser-specific policy mechanisms. The extension is installed from the official browser stores and can be force-installed so that users cannot remove or disable it.
Windows Deployment
Deploy the Web Insights extension to managed Windows devices using Group Policy (GPO) or Microsoft Intune.
macOS Deployment
Deploy the Web Insights extension to managed macOS devices using MDM solutions such as Jamf Pro or Microsoft Intune.
