Activating computers
When new computers connect to the WhatPulse Professional dashboard, they appear as Pending
by default. Organization owners and administrators hold the power to activate these computers. Please note that each activated computer will occupy a seat and add to your subscription costs.
To activate a computer, follow the following steps:
- Head to the Computers section to access the list of computers.
- Locate the computer you wish to activate.
- Click on the Assignment icon, represented by a user icon with a plus sign.
- A popup window will appear; there, you can search for and select the user who should own this computer.
- Complete the process by clicking on the Activate button.
By following these steps, you have successfully activated the computer. It will begin logging in and capturing data automatically. It typically takes around 30 to 60 minutes for the initial data to appear on the WhatPulse Professional dashboard.
Make sure to verify that the information provided is accurately reflected on the platform. Periodically reviewing the activated computers can help you manage your organization's resources more efficiently.
